The program has been created as universal application for security cross platforms working concurrently with wireless and wired Internet cameras, TV-boards, capture cards, power-line, and USB cameras. It has web interface with the similar look and controls on the local and distant workstations. Customers watch MPEG-4 coded picture and have complete management of the program via net that surveillance station can be operated without screen, keyboard, and mouse connected. Program`s modular configuration significantly increases reliability because all parts act as independent applications. If one unit freezes, other modules keep on running. For example if the `record` module freezes, `watchdog` starts again it instantly that viewers don`t notice anything because they are viewing picture through a `playback` module. The software does `repeated` recording that the `disk full` situation never happens. The recording can be non-stop or it can be turned on by activity, human face detection, or by timetable. The software has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty simple and performs on the surveillance pc as well as on remote workstation through Web interface. The software makes synchronized video playback for event analysis from many cameras concurrently. Also recorded files can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded data can be encrypted and password protected.
